Pour Point Depressants

Pour point depressants lower the temperature under which a fluid will flow; they are designed to modify wax crystal formation in lubricants, because waxes crystallize at lower temperatures. The effect of a pour point depressant is a better flow behaviour and a depression of the pour point.
